(Note by Clarence Jake Margheim: I can remember, as a teenager, spending two weeks each of the summers of 1947 and 1948 working and living on their Bridgeport farm)

      Alex and Mary were members of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, Nebraska. At the time of his death Alex was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington, Nebraska.
