  • Notes 
    • Was a Private in the U. S. Army during World War I. Declaration of Intention, dated 19 July 1919, stated that he left Libau, Russia 10 February 1913, and arrived at the Port of New York on 21 February 1913 on the vessel George Washington. Oath of Allegiance taken 13 June 1922.

      After arriving at the Port of New York, he traveled to LaCrosse, Kansas. He farmed there until 1917 when he entered the US Army for World War I. After the war, he moved to Minatare, Nebraska in 1919. He and his wife farmed there until 1936. He then moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska and worked for the Co-op Canning Factory until it closed in 1951. His supervisor, at the Co-op, in 1950 and part of 1951 was Clarence Jake Margheim who was the son of Pauline Herdt Margheim sister of his wife Agnes.

      The Nebraska 1920 US Census for Morrill County, Bayard Township listed him as follows: Conrad Gable, age 26, born in Russia, came to the USA in 1913, occupation: Pump Mechanic, Sugar Factory. He was living in th Great Western Sugar Company Factory Dormitory at Bayard, Morrill County, Nebraska.

      The Nebraska 1930 US Census for Scottsbluff County, Highland Precinct, District 16 lists the family as follows: Family Group 43, Conrad Gable, age 37, born in Russia, came to the USA in 1912, occupation: Farmer. Wife: Agnes, age 25, born in Russia, came to the USA in 1910.
